Compare two PDFs locally
Compare extracted text by page position, then inspect page previews and pixel differences. Files stay in this tab. This is not an OCR, semantic, legal or security review.
Two PDFs, up to 40 MB and 300 pages each. Encrypted files are unsupported. Text extraction is limited to two million characters per document.
How it works
- Choose two PDF versions or load the built-in example. Originals stay in this tab.
- Choose two versions, compare their text, then inspect the selected page in the visual view.
- Inspect pages without text visually. Pages are paired by number; inserted or moved pages can shift the alignment.
- Optionally download the text report as JSON. It is not OCR, semantic or legal review, or a list of every visual difference.

Troubleshooting
Encrypted or damaged documents may not open; use an unencrypted copy only when you are authorized to access it. A scan without a text layer will not yield text with ordinary extraction. At a processing limit, reduce the file or page range and keep the original.
