KITFORMA · EDITORIAL ANSWER
Why must I select my original images again when reopening a saved project?
KitForma editorial guide. Local image projects save settings and file references so you can resume a workflow without treating KitForma as file backup.
Step-by-step answer
The image tools save project settings and references on this device, not the source image bytes. Reopening a project therefore asks you to select the originals again. Use the same files, with unchanged filenames, sizes and modification dates, so the tool can match them and restore their order.
Open the corresponding tool, for example https://kitforma.com/en/resize/, select your saved project and use “Reselect files & resume”. If the files no longer match, start a new project with the replacement files instead of assuming old edits apply to them.
Up to 12 local image projects can be kept in this browser. Clearing its storage can remove them. Download results and keep your own backups; a saved project is not an online copy of your photos.
